Reading Goals for 2005:
*Read a large percentage of registered and unregistered Mount TBR = Estimated 69 books read this year (towards the end of this year I stopped keeping track of what I had read on my BX prfile hence the estimated figure)
*Read more non-fiction books that aren't for university = 9
*Read some pre-twentieth century classics as most of my reading taste deals with twentieth century fiction = 1
Hmmm, did OK as far as reading targets and goals go this year. Towards the end of this year I stopped keeping note of what books I had and had not read. I think I've probably read closer to 75 books this year. This year I have also come to the conclusion that classical books are not for me. I struggled with the one I read this year so I might leave this challenge for another year.
I think I'll continue with the effort concerning reading more non-fiction. I'll keep away from history books though as I found it difficult reading history books when doing history things for uni. Quite pathetic really. So the challenges for 2006 at the moment stand at:
*Read more non fiction books.
*Re-read all the current Harry Potter books.
*Re-read and finish the Chronicles of Narnia books. I have never got past Voyage of the Dawntreader and I would like to read the series in full.
*Read at least 100 books.
